Stud service is offered on a limited, application basis to females who meet our health testing requirements. We evaluate every inquiry individually — we are not running a commercial stud operation. Our goal is to make pairings that serve the long-term improvement of the breed, not simply to collect stud fees.
We require complete health documentation on all outside females before any commitment is made. We will not approve a pairing that we would not make ourselves. If a female's testing is incomplete or her structure gives us pause, we will say so honestly — and we expect the same candor in return.
We are happy to discuss pedigree compatibility, expected color outcomes, and structural considerations with any serious inquiry. This is a collaborative process, and we take it seriously.

Prince is our black foundation male — a dog of exceptional bone substance, correct rear angulation, and a deep, well-sprung chest. His head type is true to the breed standard with a strong, well-developed muzzle and clean, dark eyes. He is bold and steady in temperament, highly social, and has never shown an ounce of inappropriate aggression.

King is our brindle foundation male — a dog with outstanding rear drive, a strong loin, and a well-arched neck that flows cleanly into his topline. His brindle pattern is bold and clearly defined. King is playful, confident, and highly trainable, with a natural drive to work and please that makes him an outstanding ambassador for the breed.

Requirements
What We Require of Outside Females
These requirements exist to protect the integrity of the pairing and the health of any resulting litter. We apply the same standards to outside females that we apply to our own dogs. No exceptions are made.
OFA hip evaluation — Good or Excellent required
OFA cardiac evaluation by a board-certified cardiologist — Normal required
OFA thyroid panel — Normal required
Embark or equivalent full genetic health panel — results reviewed prior to approval
Current vaccinations and negative brucellosis test within 30 days of breeding
AKC registration in good standing
Veterinary letter confirming female is in good health and appropriate condition for breeding
How It Works
The Stud Service Process
Submit an Inquiry
Contact us with information about your female — her age, color, pedigree, health testing status, and your breeding goals. Photos are helpful but not required at this stage.
Documentation Review
We review all health testing documentation before any commitment is made. Incomplete or borderline results will be discussed honestly. We reserve the right to decline pairings that do not meet our standards.
Pairing Discussion
If documentation is in order, we discuss the pairing in detail — expected color outcomes, structural considerations, and what each dog brings to the combination. We want this to be a thoughtful decision for both parties.
Stud Service Agreement
A written stud service agreement is signed before breeding. Terms include stud fee, repeat breeding policy in the event of a missed conception, and any conditions specific to the pairing.
Breeding
We offer natural breeding and can discuss chilled or frozen semen for approved females at a distance. Timing is confirmed via progesterone testing — we do not breed on assumed cycle dates.
